This is a follow-up entry to our Real Estate Development News story published February 17.
In an auction held by the Tonawanda School District, bidders purchased the Highland building for $152,000 and the Administration building on Broad for $52,000. There were also 4 vacant lots that went to auction, all of which had winning bids as well. The school board must vote to approve the sales, and then the public will also get a vote, before the sales are finalized. The school district will continue to hold the buildings until that time.
