A prominent, local real estate investor has recently purchased a small Millersport Highway building that was briefly owned by a First Niagara bank affiliate.

According to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk’s office, the 3,750-square-foot building at 392 Millersport Highway  has been acquired by a company that is headed by developer/investor Ron Alsheimer – Plaza One Group Inc. – for the price of $252,500.

First Niagara Realty took title to the building last year, taking over a delinquent $412,000 mortgage from a pair of California investors.

The building that is now empty recently housed a physical therapy practice.

A number of options for the building are carefully being considered by Alsheimer. Though, he added, “We don’t have anything planned at this point.”

Alsheimer also said that he was attracted to the building because of its Millersport Highway address and that it is located at a busy intersection where streets like Grover Cleveland Highway and Eggert Road intersect.

Alsheimer added “It’s a very good location.”
