For investors, make sure you interview and find a real estate attorney that understands unconvetional transactions such as lease/options, flips, subject-to&#039;s, etc..  Ask them about their experience in these areas and also what other resources they may be able to offer you (such as wholesale deals, referrals to other quality real estate professionals, etc.)  I am a real estate attorney that specializes in these types of transactions, along with hard money/private mortgage banking, and title work, and I personally appreciate when investors take the time to come in and interview me.  We can look each other in the eye and determine if we are a good &quot;fit&quot; for each other.  As you point out, &quot;trust&quot; is a very big part of any relationship between attorney and investor!
